Dictator Watch

Donald Trump sent a snotty little Hitler youth named Steve Miller out on Sunday to be interviewed by all three networks The result was nothing short of catastrophic for the White House where Miller lurks as an advisor to the President. Add Miller to Steve Bannon with his picture on the cover of Time and ex-General Mike Flynn who lied to both the President and the Vice-President about what was said to a Russian contact and you have a trio of subversive idiots that have already put the Trump Presidency in grave danger.

These three choices along with the demonstrably awful choices of pathetic Sean Spicer and “alternate truth” surrogate Kellyanne Conway in public relations positions, cast their cloud of incompetence over any abilities his last advisor, son-in-law Jared Kuschner might display.

Trump takes great pride in telling us about what a great businessman he is. But when he makes the kinds of choices that have stocked his White House it’s understandable that he has had to bail out business after business through bankruptcy

Now we see that some clown named Ruddy, who has Trump’s ear, is bad mouthing Reince Pribus, telling the press that Pribus hasn’t the balls to do his job and impress Trump. Maybe not! This column always thought of Pribus as a whining little punk but he isn’t the one who blew the Muslim Ban rollout. That was Miller and Bannon. He wasn’t the one who lied about Flynn’s boondoggle with the Ruskies that was Miller and Spicer. He wasn’t the one who got into a big to do over Ivanka’s failing fashions, that was Spicer and Conway. So maybe Pribus is really a loser as this blog always suspected but he didn’t make the kind of asshole mistakes the rest of those non-functional clowns, Barron, Miller, Conaway, Spicer and Flynn did. They are on record as being the losers that Trump should be pointing his shotgun at first.

And the winner is Mike Flynn! First out the door of the White House. The ouster of Flynn not only shows the inability of Trump to select functional people to support him in his so far muddled attempts to run the country. It also exposes Trump as a prime bullshitter when his security comments about Hillary Clinton are taken into account. Trump came down on Clinton’s emails and the threat to which they exposed the nation’s security with both feet and all the weight of his fat ass. Now we see that he placed a man in one of the highest security positions in our government even though he already had knowledge of his vulnerability to blackmail, a month before the hiring.

Just in Trump’s first three weeks in office he has established his own, private sever to service the White House. Over a dinner with friends, he gave the go for the brutally failed raid in Yemen where we didn’t nail the target, while we did kill a number of civilians and had several of our own boys wounded and one killed. For this, Trump couldn’t inconvenience himself long enough to leave the dinner table and go to the Situation Room to see what was happening.

Then he was so hot to get his butt boy Flynn into the White House that he appointed him despite information from our intelligence agencies that Flynn was compromised. Trump knew Flynn was a security risk, his Justice Department knew it and told him so, the CIA knew, hell everybody but the bus boys at the local Olive Garden knew and they suspected. But Trump didn’t care. He wanted his ass kissed, not his country safe.

The other night at Mar-a-Largo the President was having dinner in the restaurant with the Rrime Minister of Japan. He was notified that North Korea had launched a rocket that had landed in the South China Seas. Did he immediately rush off to a private room to get the full intelligence on the situation? Hell no! Fatboy hadn’t finished stuffing his face. He held a full intelligence briefing in a public room full of civilians many of whom were snapping selfies with classified documents open all over the tables. This is how the guy who screamed about Clinton’s emails worries about security.

We know that Flynn was fired, but not because the White House suddenly discovered that he was a target for blackmail. They knew that from before he was appointed. Flynn was fired because the Washington Post was making that information public and Trump’s staff knew that once it was out, the questions would point, not to Flynn but to Trump. So the big questions that have to be answered are: (A) Why was Pence set up and allowed to go out and lie to the nation when everyone but him knew Flynn had lied to him? (B) Who, in the White House knew about this and why is it that Pence seems to be the only one who didn’t know about it? (C) Did Flynn, a man who grew up understanding the chain of command go out on his own to get involved with the Russians over sanctions or was he ordered to by Trump or one of Trump’s flunkies?

There is definitely a Russian stench about the Trump administration. Remember Paul Manafort who, previous to joining Trump, had as his clients, some of the worst criminals of the Russian sphere. And don’t forget the rumors that are all over Washington about the CIA and other intelligence organizations investigations into the whole Russia/Trump relationship. Maybe, just maybe all those flag waving clowns out there have voted in a Manchurian Candidate.

Then Trump came out yesterday and finally gave us the scoop on the Flynn firing. He announced that Flynn had lost his job because of the fake news that had sabotaged his career. Well, thank God that’s settled. But wait! Didn’t Trump tell us the other day that Flynn was fired because he couldn’t be trusted? So once again we have an instance of the President of the United States lying to the American public. Doesn’t this clown understand that he already said just the opposite on TV? Doesn’t truth mean anything to him, or is it that he doesn’t know the difference?

With the Flynn firing, by the President whether the result of “fake news” or trust issues, the investigation of not just Flynn, but also Paul Manafort and other Trump aides like Sebastian Gorka by various government intelligence services could blaze a trail that leads back to Trump’s involvement with Russian intelligence and their hacking of the last election. Such a revelation could begin murmurs of the possibility of impeachment.

Before that story gets too hot, Trump is moving to cut it off at the pass; not by revealing his entire association with Russian business and intelligence but by attacking our intelligence system. He has chosen Steven Feinberg, a billionaire private investment financier to run an investigation into the intelligence services. Feinberg’s name was quickly added to a list under consideration to run the clandestine services, a report that rocked the entire clandestine community.

What are Feinberg’s qualifications to run our spy system? I mean other than that he gave money to Trump’s campaign and he has a close relationship with Steve Bannon? Is he, at least as qualified as Andrew Puzder would have been to run his agency if he had not been revealed to be a wife beater before his hearings?

Except for Flynn, Trump picked a pretty good security team to run that aspect of the country’s governing but almost everyone else in his cabinet is either unqualified to do the job for which he has been selected or unable to walk and chew gum. Picking Feinberg for intelligence head would practically be an admission by Trump that the intelligence community’s investigations into his involvement with the Russians in the election hack were a fact. It’s too bad that nobody ever told Trump that the place to put our unqualified campaign donors is into Ambassadorships not the cabinet.

For those of you who don’t believe in conspiracy theories it’s time to look at what Trump has done and is doing in only his first three weeks in office. He has attacked the judicial system in this country. Then he sent out lugubrious Steve Miller to declare on national TV that he is basically above the law. He followed this with an attack on the media, calling them propagators of “fake news.” Now he has gone after the intelligence community because they are looking into his possibly impeachable interactions with the Russians. So far in only three weeks he has gone after three restraints on his ability to act as he pleases in the White House. It is precisely the game plan of every dictator in the history of international politics. Squash the free press, crush the judicial, subvert the intelligence services and move in the military to crush rebellion (as hinted at in Chicago). That leaves only Congress to be subverted and that may not be as hard as it sounds when we consider that most of the Republicans in both houses of Congress are more worried about their jobs than they are about the future of the country. Watch out people. Adolph Trump isn’t fooling around.
