Watched Ted Cruz address a crowd of potential voters in Pennsylvania. It was truly amazing. Trump is right for a change. Cruz speech was an accumulation of lies, half-truths, slander and more lies. I have probably never seen a more dishonest performance in my life and it is to be assumed that he is making this speech over and over several times a day on his desperate search for a way to beat Trump.
Cruz jumps right in, stating that we should abolish the IRS, a very popular notion among the terminally stupid. So, if you do abolish the IRS who collects taxes? Oh! You’re going to create a new agency to do this. And how will that differ from what we have now? Oh, you don’t have an answer. Typical.
Then Cruz wants to reign in the EPA. That will surely work if you don’t mind living with fossil fueled air that you can actually see and that kills your kids, or rivers that run in Technicolor with the poisons they carry into your home. Yeah, that’s a really bright idea.
He also wants to end most federal regulation so that corporate America can; screw you, poison you and put you in unsafe cars, trains, planes and homes.
He then carries on about securing the borders which actually as safe as any in the free world, and ending welfare for illegal immigrants, another system that is practically, at this point, non-existent.
What will be the reward of the fulfillment of all these phony Cruz promises? To hear him tell it, jobs, millions and millions of high paying jobs, which are now being filled by illegals who will be sent back to Mexico. Really? It probably never occurred to Ted that all those welfare receiving illegal immigrants, with all those high paying jobs, would be able to afford a lawyer who could easily keep them in the country.
Te rants about manufacturing jobs coming back to Pennsylvania. But he’s lying! Those jobs no longer exist. Those industries are forever gone or robots have replaced their labor force. He doesn’t get that the replacement of those jobs lies in, infrastructure, which he and the GOP are against, that he and the GOP have battled Obama’s attempts to get that ball rolling for almost eight years.
He speaks to higher wages but every time some Democrat tries to get a higher minimum wage he and his far right buddies fight it to the death.
He rants about how, as president, he will fulfill people’s hopes and dreams with two, three, four and five job offers all at great money. It is the most dishonest speech I have ever heard. This scum stands before people who are desperate to support their families, who are scratching for a meager existence, and he lies to their faces, while they cheer at his lies, when they should be tearing his lying carcass apart!
Watching this speech it is easy to understand why Cruz is the most hated member of congress. Why he’s the man of whom Lindsay Graham has said; he could be shot in front of a full session of congress and you couldn’t find anyone who would accuse his killer.
Sure Trump would be a disastrous clown as president and Kasich would, because of his views, be a very dangerous choice but in a job that has, over the years, attracted some of the world’s most aberrant psychotics, Cruz would be the most dishonest liar we had ever put in the White House. If that’s what you want, you should, by now, know how to get it.
